Signature field

What it does#

The Signature field captures a signature image and stores it with the submission. It's the right field for waivers, consent forms, and any flow where you need a respondent's visible mark.

Three input modes#

• Draw — sign with a finger or stylus on mobile, mouse on desktop.
• Type — render the respondent's typed name as a handwritten font.
• Upload — attach an existing signature PNG.

Settings#

• Required — must be signed before submit.

Example#

On a rental agreement, pair a Signature field with a paragraph explaining what the respondent is agreeing to — that combination holds up better than a checkbox alone.
